About Lanakila Contracting

The name Lanakila means Victory in Hawaiian, a reflection of the company’s mission-driven mindset and commitment to delivering successful outcomes for every situation. That meaning carries even deeper significance, as the company’s founder, AlexAndria “Andria”, also carries a name rooted in victory, symbolizing leadership, resilience, and determination. Together, these meanings embody the spirit behind Lanakila Contracting: a company built to overcome challenges, deliver results, and support mission success.

Lanakila Contracting was founded from a desire to continue serving others beyond military service. After a career in the Navy, our founder wanted to continue doing the work she loved; Supporting mission-critical operations, solving complex challenges, and helping people succeed, all while also building real, lasting connections. What began as a vision quickly grew into a successful operating business.

Andria is an accomplished electronic engineer specializing in Radio Frequency (RF) communications. With over 20 years of experience across the federal landscape, she brings expertise in business development, project management, systems engineering, construction and installation, and quality control management. Her background provides a deep understanding of federal contracts, compliance requirements, and mission-driven execution. Andria holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an MBA from Chaminade University.

The passion behind Lanakila extends beyond technical execution. Andria remains deeply committed to service and community. She serves as AFCEA International’s Emerging Leader Vice President for the Indo-Pacific and as Emerging Leaders Vice President for the AFCEA Hawaii Chapter, demonstrating her dedication to mentorship and leadership development. She also helped spearhead workforce development initiatives at the Puea Learning Center in Waiʻanae, Hawaiʻi, served as an RF communications instructor at Leeward Community College, and participates in the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Program.

From its earliest days, Lanakila Contracting has grown through dedication to quality, responsiveness, and mission-first execution. Lanakila has quickly evolved into a successful and expanding operation supporting defense and federal customers.

Today, Lanakila Contracting supports projects that span resilient infrastructure modernization, secure facility construction, and integrated technology systems. Our team brings disciplined execution, technical precision, and a deep understanding of mission-critical environments, allowing us to perform effectively within active, controlled, and occupied facilities.

Our mission is simple and clear:

To design, build, and secure resilient facilities and integrated technology systems that strengthen national defense, protect communities, and empower the next generation of technical leaders.

At Lanakila Contracting, we believe success is measured not just by the projects completed, but by the trust that is earned, partnerships built, and missions strengthened.
